Syncing My Calendar

Syncing your calendar helps you avoid double bookings and automatically adds TutorLyft lessons to your calendar, so you never miss a session.

When you connect your calendar, TutorLyft checks for any events marked as busy and blocks off that time to prevent clients from booking over it. This is especially useful if you have classes, work, or other personal commitments already scheduled.

We do not see the details of your personal events—only whether a time slot is free or busy.

There are two separate settings you can enable:

• Check for conflicts: Blocks off time in your TutorLyft availability based on any busy events in your connected calendars.
• Add new bookings: Automatically adds confirmed TutorLyft sessions to the calendar(s) you choose.

You can turn on one or both options depending on your workflow, but we recommend enabling both to stay organized and avoid scheduling issues.
