Asks thought-provoking questions, guiding them in the right direction. I genuinely care about their learning and continually challenge them so they can improve. They appreciate how I can break down complex ideas and topics into clear digestible concepts in a fun and engaging way.
Firstly giving myself a solid refresh of whatever it is the students need help with, making sure I understand it fully enough so I can explain it simply. Then I give a quick overview of the topic, some of the basic principles involved, then we dive into some questions! (This is where the real learning happens!). I will help them solve questions 1 by 1, to help them build a solid understanding of the equations and physics behind each problem. The more questions we do, the better. I will also make some helpful formula sheets, and share the notes we take so you can reference them on your own time.
Not to stress, it all works out. Just keep trying your best and keep trying to do the right thing. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone will judge you about this and that. That dosent define you, your actions and determination do. Stay focused.
Have spent the last 5 summers tree planting in BC! Every summer, thousands of planters brave muddy boots, bug bites, and sore backs to put millions of saplings into the ground. It's tough, rewarding work, fueled by campfires, camaraderie, and epic mountain views. I have also launched a rocket! (Spaceport America Cup). Founded 2 companies, and I love football (go Chiefs).
