I'm a tutor that not only cares about a student's performance, but also cares about helping them get better at independent learning and gain deeper understandings of what they are learning. I make sure students understand the "why" just as much as the "how".
My teaching style is patient, compassionate, thorough, dynamic, and authentic.
I would tell myself that grades do not define who I am and do not dictate my future. I can be anything I want to be and do anything I want to do as long as I'm willing to put in the effort. The only doors that are closed are the ones that I'm not willing to open.
I was not always a teacher. I became a police officer straight out of university.
