Getting in

Can I get into TMU?

Tell us two things and we'll show where you'd sit among the students TMU admitted.

Overall

TMU doesn't publish an acceptance rate. Its Fall 2025 first-year students from Ontario high schools averaged 86.09%.

Grades aren't everything

Grades only for most programs. Architectural Science, Interior Design, Fashion, Film, Photography Media Arts, Acting, Dance and Professional Music need a portfolio, audition or written submission, and Midwifery a form and an interview. No Casper.

How your marks are counted

Ontario: your best six Grade 12 U or M courses, which may or may not include your program's required courses. TMU needs at least 70% overall, and each program sets a minimum of 60% to 75% in its required courses. Grade 11 marks can be used for early offers, and repeated or upgraded marks count. BC: five academic Grade 12 courses; TMU's calendar asks for an overall average of 73% or higher.

Cost

What will my first year cost?

After your first degree

Planning a professional degree?

Medicine, law and the rest start after university, not after Grade 12. Pick one to see what it asks for.
