Overall

McGill doesn't publish an acceptance rate. For Fall 2025 it made 18,132 offers to 38,135 undergraduate and professional applicants.

Grades aren't everything

Grades only for most programs. Extra documents count only for Population and Global Health, Education, Global Engineering, Music, Nursing and Religious Studies.

How your marks are counted

BC: McGill averages your top five academic Grade 12 courses, including the program's prerequisites, and you report every Grade 11 and 12 course. Ontario: your top six 4U, DU or 4M courses, with at least four at 4U or DU and at most two at 4M.

Cost

What will my first year cost?

Canadians from outside Quebec admitted since Fall 2024 pay $432.85 a credit. Commerce ($16,427.40) and Engineering ($15,748.80) cost them more. International tuition is fixed for the length of the degree.

After your first degree

Planning a professional degree?
