Getting in

Can I get into U of T?

Tell us two things and we'll show where you'd sit among the students U of T admitted.

Overall

U of T doesn't publish an acceptance rate. Almost two-thirds of new U of T students have a 90%+ high school average.

Grades aren't everything

Some programs need a supplementary application: Computer Science, Rotman Commerce, Engineering, Architecture and Kinesiology. Music needs a questionnaire and an audition.

How your marks are counted

Ontario: six 4U/M courses including ENG4U. BC: six academic Grade 12 courses including English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12. Early offers can use Grade 11 marks while Grade 12 marks aren't in yet. Co-op, challenge, career education and work experience courses don't count.

What will my first year cost?

Ontario residents starting in Fall 2026 pay $6,220. Engineering is $14,460 for Ontario residents, $17,730 for other Canadians and $72,860 for international students.
